Call for paper – 3D-ARCH, 1-3 mars 2016, Nauplie, Grèce

Du 1er au 3 mars 2016 aura lieu à Nauplie (Grèce), la 7e édition du workshop 3D-ARCH.

L’objectif de ce workshop est de discuter les différentes étapes et processus pour la reconstitution et la modélisation 3D, l’accès aux données, et la compréhension des environnements numériques provenant de plusieurs sources de données.

Les différents sujets abordés lors du workshop sont :

  • Multi-source data and multi-sensors approaches
  • Low-cost sensors and open-source algorithms for terrestrial 3D modeling
  • Automation in data registration
  • Image matching and 3D reconstruction
  • Point cloud analysis
  • 4D modelling
  • Procedural modeling
  • Accuracy requirement and assessment in 3D reconstructions
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality applied to the visualization and conservation of complex architectures and heritage

Appel à contributions :
Les résumés d’articles d’un minimum de 1.000 mots, avec la possibilité d’ajouter des illustrations, devra être envoyé sous format PDF (nom-de-lauteur_etal.pdf) par email à remondino@fbk.eu avant le 20 novembre 2016.

Dal 1 al 3 marzo 2016 si terrà a Nafplio (Grecia) la 7ma edizione del workshop 3D-ARCH.

L’obbiettivo principale del workshop è la discussione dei vari process e tappe per la ricostruzione e la modellazione 3D,e come divulgare e capire i digital environments costruiti con vari data sources.

Gli argomenti principali sono:

L’abstract deve fare un minimo di 1.000 parole, con possibilità di aggiungere illustrazioni, e deve essere inviato in PDF (nome-del-autore_etal.pdf) via mail a remondino@fbk.eu prima del 20 novembre 2016.

From March the 1st to the 3rd, 2016, will be held in Nafplio (Greece), the 7th edition of the 3D-ARCH workshop.

The main focus of the workshop is to discuss steps and processes for smart 3D reconstruction, modelling, accessing and understanding of digital environments from multiple data sources. Topics include:

  • Low-cost sensors and open-source algorithms for terrestrial 3D modeling
  • Automation in data registration
  • Image matching and 3D reconstruction
  • Point cloud analysis
  • 4D modelling
  • Procedural modeling

Call for abstract
The abstract should be at least 1000 words, possibly with figures, and should be sent as PDF file (first-author-name_etal.pdf) via email to remondino@fbk.eu before November, 20th 2016.

Workshop – OKOA 2016, The 2nd Open Knowledge – Open Arts Workshop, February 2016, Catania, Italy

Du 26 au 27 février 2016 aura lieu le second workshop international Open Knowledge – Open Arts Workshop, OKOA 2016, à Catane, Italie.

Il est organisé par l’Université de Catane en collaboration avec YouCultures, HackSpace Catania, Palestra per la Mente et WikiMedia Italia.
Le workshop traitera de l’Open Data, l’Open Source et le Patrimoine Culturel.
L’objectif de l’OKOA2016 est de montrer comment le fait de partager ses données en mode libre d’une façon qui soit lisible pour tout le monde et sans limitations pour leur utilisation peut aider la Recherche, la production et l’utilisation du Patrimoine Culturel.

Il workshop tratterà dell’Open Data, l’Open Source e dei Beni Culturali.

L’obiettivo dell’OKOA2016 è di mostrare che il fatto di condividere i dati in modo open in un modo che siano leggibili per tutti e reutilisabili senza limitazioni aiuta la Ricerca, la produzione e l’uso dei Beni Culturali.

From February 26th to 27th will be held in Catania, Italy, the International Workshop Open Knowledge – Open Arts Workshop, OKOA 2016.

The workshop will be organized by the University of Catania in collaboration with YouCultures, HackSpace Catania, Palestra per la Mente and WikiMedia Italia.

Open Knowledge – Open Arts is an informal workshop about open data, open source and cultural heritage.

The aim of the Open Knowledge Open Arts workshop is to investigate how the open sharing of the data, in a readable form for all people and with no limitation on reuse can help research, production and fruition of Cultural Heritage.
