- Roberto Scopigno is a Research Director at ISTI, an Institute of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) located in Pisa, and leads the Visual Computer Lab. He graduated in Computer Science at the University of Pisa in 1984, and has been involved in Computer Graphics since then.
He will present “Delivering and using 3D models on the web: are we ready?“ - Herbert Maschner is Executive Director of Center for Virtualization and Applied Spatial Technologies (CVAST) at the University of South Florida. He also holds tenured Professorships in the USF Department of Anthropology and the School of Geosciences.
He will present “Building a Global Virtual Archaeology Data Network: Tampa, Paris, La Mancha, and Beyond.“ - Pedro Santos has been Head of the Competence Center for Cultural Heritage Digitization since 2012. Before he was Deputy Head of the Department of Industrial Applications, today Department of Interactive Engineering Technologies.
He will present “3D mass digitization: a milestone for archeological documentation”.
